This medium-sized hardbound book is designed as a how-to-draw book for children ages 5 & up. It's refreshing to see a book of its kind that is neither overly difficult nor trite or silly. While my children weren't actually inspired to draw from it, my five-year-old son enjoyed looking at the pages and seeing how the drawings were done in simple, 4-part stages with minimal text and achievable, simple forms. I'd like to borrow more books from this series as I think my children will start to use them with more exposure to the series.
