If you are familiar with the Fleurus series of Imagerie books, you will recognize the simplistic illustration style here, but you'll also be impressed by the diversity of cultural and ethnographic information here for preschool and early elementary learners. With a section for each continent, each section begins with a simple map of the region along with its major sites, activities, and day-in-the-life narratives. Adults and children alike will enjoy the wealth of knowledge presented here, even with its childlike illustrations.
